Tournaments may be held between 2, 4 or 8 people. Each match has the participants playing 3 games. Whoever has the highest score from the games will advance to the next rung.

Any game can be used in a tournament, but since 3 games are played in each match on a rung, this can be excessively time consuming. We'd love suggestions for tournaments, but these time constraints will need to be kept in mind.

Only admins may initiate a tournament. The announcement will be made in the shoutbox and here. You must post your interest in the tourny in this thread. Please be sure that you can participate in the full tourny if you sign up.

Please refrain from general chit chat in here as this makes organizing a tourny difficult.

(Currently, there are a couple of bugs in the tournament ladder setup (i.e. wrong players advancing sometimes). If any problems are noted, please report them to staff immediately.)

OK... so I'm feeling brave enough for a tournament tomorrow night!

Any suggestions or requests? Who would be interested? Keep in mind that the tourny set up currently requires a person to play 3 games, so we don't want to choose a game that can be endless.

OK, tournament players!

If you go to the Arcade page, click "View Latest Active Tournament" Click the "Play" button below your name to begin.

You will be playing the game three times in the tournament. When your game completes, it will take you back to the tournament screen (if not, navigate back there), and click play again. Do this until you've played three times.

Do not refresh your screen during play or it will count it as a game anyway!

This is the first tournament on the board... so good luck!

Aren't those potentially really long games? I can do 2 or 4 person tournies if someone wants to spend that much time doing it lol Since you guys are good at it, you could be here all night! Of course, I believe that you can pick it up tomorrow again if you don't finish.
