Dick

It is funny what people come up with.....Although I will say Dick is an awesome speaker I have heard him on a few occasions

I think men named Richard ought to be called Richard or Rich or hey you. Dick is just not a good name. imo

I have a half-uncle named Richard who went by "Dick"

I used to greet him with "Hi! Got any gum on ya, Dick?"



If we were not in the presence of girls, he'd retort "Yea...bubblegum. Wanna blow it?"

My dad was named Richard and his nickname was Dick. I always hated it. He didn't seem to mind though. amp;amp;amp;amp;amp;:(

I never quite understood how they got to Dick from Richard. Richard... rich... Rick.... Dick??

Also how did John get nicknamed to Jack? Not like it's any shorter...
