It opened a little like a piece by Enya, an artist I particularly like, and carried its theme well. If the levels were a little more intentional, I see your worry in that aspect going away. It carries a mood that conveys your title and gives a sense of peace.

I'd be interested in hearing the final cut.

I couldn't help but hear a drum track running in my head while listening. A soft rim-shot on a deep maple snare and quaint 16th's on a jazz hi-hat.
